Other features of the R34 include a C-West Body kit a blue long striped vinyl, HRE rims and a C-West spoiler wing. The production crew responsible for the R34's removed the front driveshaft from the vehicle and disabled the Skyline's four-wheel steering "so it could misbehave like a regular car". The level of traction in the R34 makes "burnouts" in the vehicle isn't a "Caterpillar D9". According to, it would take "a rear-quarter" from another vehicle for R34's rear end to lose control. This car has carbon-fiber under-car diffusers and a new rear wing. ![]() But the big change for the R34 from previous Skylines was a stiffened body shell and fresh aerodynamic design. Super HICAS four-wheel steering is also aboard and includes an electronic feedback control system to ensure precise wheel positioning under extreme circumstances. The R34's engine feeds a six-speed Getrag gearbox that in turn sends power to the ATTESA all-wheel-drive system, which electronically varies the torque split. The R34s in the films were powered by an RB26DETT 2.6-liter, DOHC, 24-valve straight six sitting longitudinally in the engine bay that's force fed by twin turbos and officially rated at 280 hp. The Nissan Skylines produced for the film were all R34s (the model itself was introduced back in 1998). The car is impounded following Brian's arrest by the U.S. Brian is able escape most of them, but Agent Markham fires an ESD harpoon at the Skyline, shutting it down. The Skyline successfully makes the bridge jump and wins the race, but everyone is forced to flee when the cops show up. Slap Jack's 1993 Toyota Supra competes against the Skyline successfully until he makes too wide a turn, allowing Brian to take the lead. He races against the likes of his friend Suki, and opponents Slap Jack and Orange Julius. Brian drives to Miami, where he smiles after seeing some girls and then again as he spots a Toyota Supra and a Mazda RX-7.īrian uses his Nissan Skyline to participate in the street race hosted by Tej Parker. Brian then reaches a fork in the highway, the left side going straight to New York while the right exit heads towards Miami, Florida. He uses it to participate in more races, even being seen trying to be raced against by two bikers. He later gives it a paint job, adds a GT-R badge to the grill, and works underneath the car in a garage. Brian purchases the car in cash with his previous winnings and drives it away. ![]() ![]() If you find out that your queries frequently search documents by some property (for example, a severity property in a JSON document), you can add a classic NONCLUSTERED index on the property to speed up the queries. This ability to use rich T-SQL query syntax is the key difference between SQL Server and SQL Database and classic NoSQL databases - in Transact-SQL you probably have any function that you need to process JSON data. You can extract values from a JSON document with the JSON_VALUE function and use it in the query like any other value. SQL Server and SQL Database don't introduce any constraints in the queries that you can use to analyze JSON documents. It's a powerful advantage that you can use any T-SQL function and query clause to query JSON documents. ORDER BY AVG( CAST( JSON_VALUE(log,'$.duration') as float) ) DESC HAVING AVG( CAST( JSON_VALUE(log,'$.duration') as float) ) > 100 WHERE CAST( JSON_VALUE(log,'$.date') as datetime) > BY JSON_VALUE(log, '$.severity') For example: SELECT TOP 100 JSON_VALUE(log, '$.severity'), AVG( CAST( JSON_VALUE(log,'$.duration') as float)) ![]() When you store your JSON documents in the table, you can use standard Transact-SQL language to query the documents. Without the constraint, the table is optimized for inserts, because any JSON document is added directly to the column without any processing. For example: ALTER TABLE WebSite.LogsĪDD CONSTRAINT Įvery time someone inserts or updates a document in the table, this constraint verifies that the JSON document is properly formatted. If you want to be sure that valid JSON is saved in the log column, you can add a CHECK constraint on the column. The sample table created in the preceding example assumes that valid JSON documents are stored in the log column. If you're sure that your JSON documents aren't greater than 8 KB, however, we recommend that you use NVARCHAR(4000) instead of NVARCHAR(max) for performance reasons. The nvarchar(max) data type lets you store JSON documents that are up to 2 GB in size. This structure is a good choice for the classic NoSQL scenarios where you want to retrieve a document by ID or update a stored document by ID. ![]() The primary key _id is an auto-incrementing value that provides a unique identifier for every document and enables fast lookups. This structure is equivalent to the collections that you can find in classic document databases. The simplest way to store JSON documents in SQL Server or SQL Database is to create a two-column table that contains the ID of the document and the content of the document. This approach increases the load time because JSON parsing is done during load however, queries match the performance of classic queries on the relational data. Fragments from the input JSON documents can be stored in the SQL data type columns or in NVARCHAR columns containing JSON sub-elements. Relational storage - JSON documents can be parsed while they are inserted in the table using OPENJSON, JSON_VALUE or JSON_QUERY functions. This approach might introduce an additional performance penalty on query/analysis time if indexing on JSON values is not performed, because the raw JSON documents must be parsed while the queries are running. This is the best way for quick data load and ingestion because the loading speed matches the loading speed of string columns. LOB storage - JSON documents can be stored as-is in NVARCHAR columns. The first storage design decision is how to store JSON documents in the tables. This article describes the options for storing JSON documents in SQL Server or SQL Database. You can store JSON documents in SQL Server or SQL Database and query JSON data as in a NoSQL database. SQL Server and Azure SQL Database have native JSON functions that enable you to parse JSON documents using standard SQL language. ![]() Without further ado, here are the best screen sharing apps, broken down into a few categories to make it a little easier to sift through them. 15 screen sharing apps: Features, pricing, and perks For example, you can choose to share your entire screen, just an app’s window, or a specific tab in Dialpad. So, you might want to look for screen sharing apps that give you specific sharing options. Not everyone needs to see those 50 windows you have open, after all. Who doesn’t love options? Sometimes it’s most useful to share your entire screen, and at other times to share only a certain tab. Choosing between multiple screens and windows (For security reasons, though, the host should have the ability to stop other people’s screen shares-just in case you’ve been Zoombombed and uninvited guests are sharing obscenities on their screens.) 3. That’s why you should make sure the app you choose lets other meeting participants share their screen too. Usually, the host or presenter in a meeting is the one sharing their screen, but that’s not always the case. (For instance, in Dialpad, you can start a screen share right from your meeting screen in one click.) 2. Ideally, it’s a one-click-to-launch situation-which is why (as we’ll see in just a bit) the best screen sharing apps are generally built in already in video conferencing platforms and tools. You probably wouldn’t want to use a video conferencing platform either if it takes 10 minutes just to sign in and start a virtual meeting, right? ![]() It shouldn’t take forever to start sharing your screen. With that out of the way, here are five things that you should at the very least consider as you’re shopping around. That’s why we didn’t include it on this list-an easy to use and well-designed screen sharing app isn’t a “nice-to-have” or a feature that you should consider. The whole point of using a screen sharing app is that it makes collaboration easier for teams who can’t all be in the same room. 3 features to look for in a screen sharing app In this guide, we’ll look at how to use a screen sharing app, key features to look for, and break down some of the best screen sharing software out there.īut before we get into the list, let’s first look at some essential features to consider as you’re looking at different options. You can find a huge range of software out there, from basic freebies to the most advanced virtual tools which enable you to take a vibrant office-environment onto your computer or mobile screen. The good news is, many video conferencing platforms already have screen sharing capabilities built in, which means you don’t have to buy yet another tool just to be able to share your screen (yes, we’re talking about sharing your mobile screen too).īut of course, like with any other software, not all screen sharing apps are equal. With the rise of remote work, most folks are probably no strangers to communications tools that give you features like messaging, voice call, and video chat capabilities.īut if you and your team regularly review things like design mockups, website wireframes, or just presentations in general, then a screen sharing app is another critical tool to have. ![]() ![]() Diablo 4’s game director Luis Barriga answered this head-on in the June 2020 quarterly update saying, “We find that the game stops feeling like Diablo and the world feels less dangerous when you see other players too often or in too high numbers. You can't play Diablo 4 offline and you are in a shared world with other players, and yet, the game is not a true MMO. The Drowned, for example, features five distinct archetypes: “bruiser, ranged combat, melee combat, swarmer, and dungeon boss.” Obviously, each of these will require players to utilize varying strategies of their own to contend with the different methods of attack, so identifying which monster family is attacking you isn’t enough to determine how to respond. Other families have a wider variety of attacks. The Cannibal family is entirely melee-based, featuring “supernatural swiftness” and they will “close the gap by leaping over obstacles and would-be competitors,” which should make for some extremely fast-paced and close-quarters battles. The rogue in Diablo 4 will be able to take on the ranged attack focus of the original, but different build options will be possible that push it more towards the Assasin class of Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction or the Demon Hunter of Diablo 3. Rogue makes an even more distant return from the dead, missing since the very first Diablo game. The druid will also have the ability to summon two wolves to assist in combat. He is a shape-shifter that can transform into a bear and wolf form depending on whether speed or power is the answer to the current battle. We also have the triumphant return of the druid, a fan favorite from the Diablo 2 expansion that was missing from Diablo 3. When cornered by enemies, she can transform herself into a ball of lightning, making herself temporarily invincible and dealing area of effect damage in her immediate vicinity. Sorceress naturally gravitates to more ranged attacks with a variety of magic to hurl at enemies, including ice bolts, fireballs and lighting. ![]() We’ll provide an overview of each platform and then compare 1Password vs. This article will focus on two enterprise password management leaders: 1Password and LastPass. Businesses of all sizes now adopt enterprise-wide password management tools to create and administer a corporate password policy where users securely share passwords to decrease the likelihood of a breach.Ĭhoosing the best password manager for your business can be difficult, especially when you try to satisfy everyone in your company. Password managers were originally created to solve the problem of creating unique, secure passwords, and then remembering them. A password manager software can reduce the risk of exposure. A data breach in the US in 2019 cost companies an average of $8.19 million - nearly twice as much as the global average. Sharing passwords via insecure methods - written down, via email, or storing them in a spreadsheet - increases the likelihood that those passwords, and the data they protect, will be exposed to hackers. But securely sharing unique, complex passwords is nearly impossible without a password manager software. We’ll have to wait for Intel and MSI to share more information on the data breach in order to know what happens next.Despite the best efforts of software and security professionals, many growing businesses share logins between users - usually as a cost-reduction effort. This includes not downloading files from sources you don’t trust and regularly scanning your computer with antivirus software, if you’re using any. If you’re using a build with an MSI motherboard and an Intel chip, take the usual security measures to stay safe. It’s possible that it opened the door to the creation of malware that can skip right past Intel Boot Guard, and that could be dangerous for affected devices. It’s hard to say precisely how big of an impact this leak might have. It should be noted that Intel BootGuard OEM keys are generated by the system manufacturer, and these are not Intel signing keys.” There have been researcher claims that private signing keys are included in the data, including MSI OEM Signing Keys for Intel BootGuard. In a statement to Bleeping Computer, Intel said: “Intel is aware of these reports and actively investigating. Matrosov claims that Intel Boot Guard may now be ineffective on some of Intel’s best processors, including Tiger Lake, Alder Lake, and Raptor Lake chips running on MSI-based devices. If threat actors gain access to these keys, they might be able to create powerful malware that’s capable of bypassing Intel’s security measures. The fact that it’s now compromised makes this as much Intel’s problem as it is MSI’s. Intel Boot Guard prevents the loading of malicious firmware on Intel hardware. MSI refused to give in and didn’t pay the ransom, and unfortunately, the hacker gang followed through and started leaking the firmware source code of MSI’s motherboards.Īccording to Alex Matrosov, the CEO of Binarly, a security platform, the source code may have contained some really sensitive information, such as Intel Boot Guard private keys for 116 MSI products. 6:00 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

There was a story, repeated in various forms over the past 100 years or so, that Joe Pye was “an Indian medicine man” who saved an entire colony of English settlers in the 1600’s from typhus fever using a tea made from the plant. Joe Pye Weed in the Meadow at the Nature Center Hardy in Zones 3 to 9 and deer resistant, Joe Pye looks great at the back of a formal flower bed or along a rustic fence. They all bloom from late summer through fall, and they all have big flower clusters in shades of pink to lavender. Spotted Joe Pye ( Eupatorium maculatum) is usually about 6 feet tall, and Coastal Joe Pye ( Eupatorium dubium) is the shortest at about 4 feet, with a cultivar marketed as ‘Baby Joe’ growing only 3 feet tall. Hollow Joe Pye ( Eupatorium fistulosum) is the tallest at around 10 feet. The main difference among them for gardeners is height. ![]() There are five species of Joe Pye Weed, which is the common name of all five plants in the genus Eutrochium (formerly part of the genus Eupatorium), and all are North American natives. Caterpillars native to the US cannot eat the leaves of “Butterfly bush,” so Joe Pye Weed is the right choice if you want more butterflies. It is a great alternative to non-native “Butterfly bush” ( Buddleia spp.), not only because it attracts as many or more butterflies, but because it also allows them to reproduce. Native to wet meadows in the Eastern half of the US, Joe Pye Weed nurtures butterflies, bees, and is the host plant for more than three dozen species of moth and butterfly caterpillars. ![]() Your own sleep/wake cycle – or circadian rhythm, as scientists call it – can be longer or shorter depending on your genetics and age, but it’s also impacted by outside factors such as lightness and darkness, lifestyle and mood. Having an abundance of energy first thing in the morning drives many early birds to go for a run or hit the gym, while night owls are enjoying an extra hour or two in bed. Early birds are healthier overallĮarly birds are often healthier than their late-rising counterparts, which is primarily down to a better exercise regime. ![]() As well as their natural ability to thrive during traditional working hours, studies show that early birds are generally more proactive, efficient and good at problem-solving. The early bird really does catch the worm, with early-risers being go-getters who typically enjoy successful careers. Night owls may be more intelligent, but early birds are still more likely to be successful. It’s thought that smarter individuals are more likely to have nocturnal tendencies, with late-risers having consistently performed better in reading, writing and mathematics tests. This may be a hard pill to swallow for early risers, but many studies have suggested that night owls are typically more intelligent. ![]() Recording your levels of concentration, enthusiasm and energy throughout the day is one way to determine your chronotype. ![]() Is there a particular time of day when you feel most focused and ready to get things done? Whereas early birds are more productive and creative in the morning, night owls really come into their own on an evening, taking advantage of a sudden burst of energy later on in the night. Early birds and night owls are productive at different times When forced to wake up earlier than their body clock dictates, night owls tend to become impatient, stressed and more easily aggravated. Night owls are more irritable on a morningĪs well as being tired in the morning, night owls are also naturally more irritable at this time of day. If you consistently feel groggy and fatigued during the daytime no matter how well you’ve slept, you’re probably a night owl. True night owls struggle with fatigue in the morning even after a full night’s sleep, and for some this feeling of tiredness can continue well into the day. Night owls are more prone to daytime fatigue This means early birds are more likely to take daytime naps, especially after a rough night. Although the sleep they get tends to be better and more regular than a night owl’s, if they don’t get their eight hours in, weariness does creep up on them. So, which one are you, and what difference does it actually make? Early birds need more sleepĮarly birds need more sleep than night owls and really suffer the consequences if they don’t get it. Scientists have done extensive research into these two types of sleepers, or chronotypes, with early birds and night owls typically being associated with different character traits. It’s an age-old question: are you an early bird, or a night owl? While some people spring out of bed in the morning with an immediate zest for life, others hit snooze on their alarm clocks and head straight for a coffee upon getting out of bed. |
